{"id":4112,"date":"2015-05-21T17:59:57","date_gmt":"2015-05-21T17:59:57","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/lux.www2.realat.lv\/wordpress\/?page_id=4112"},"modified":"2019-02-17T19:28:06","modified_gmt":"2019-02-17T17:28:06","slug":"uzturesanas-atlauja","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www2.realat.lv\/en\/residence-permit\/","title":{"rendered":"Residence permit"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<p>Several thousands of foreigners started from July 1, 2010 have acquired real estate in Latvia (when the changes has been made in the migration law) and have thus got the residence permit. The residence permits in Latvia allow a person to stay in any Schengen area territory for 5 years without a visa.<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">While applying for the residence permit one has to consider the following terms and conditions:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><em>Purchasing the real estate on the territory of Latvia, please note that its value must be not lower than EUR 250\u00a0000,- <\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>The cadastral value of the property at the moment of the purchase must not be lower than EUR 80\u00a0000,- If the cadastral value is lower than mentioned above, then it is necessary to arrange the evaluation of the real estate (using the duly certified valuation officer &#8211; expert).
